Amendment A2

The Consumer Demand Project (CDP) was set up in 2012 as a major international tourism research project looking into how global consumers view Australia and what most motivates them to visit. Since 2012 it has been extensively used to inform and support development of TA’s strategic direction, campaign development as well as to inform the tourism industry of potential opportunities to build the value of Australian tourism. Over the last four years TA has collaborated with all state and territory organisations (STOs) on the CDP, this has enabled the CDP to increase in scope and build another ‘one voice’ initiative, ensuring a collective and more aligned approach to attracting the international traveller. For 2020-2023 all eight STOs will continue to subscribe and be a part of the CDP.
