The Service Provider will support the NSW Governments strategic assessment process by undertaking ecological field surveys, data management, analysis and reporting to validate State Vegetation Type Mapping (SVTM) and assess vegetation condition across Regional Forest Agreement (RFA) subregions in New South Wales. The services comprise three phases: Phase 1 – Survey planning and logistics: Development of survey methodologies, planning of field activities, management of work health and safety requirements, land access arrangements, site identification and data collection protocols. Phase 2 – Field surveys, analysis and reporting: Delivery of vegetation integrity and rapid flora surveys by suitably qualified personnel; collection and management of field data; spatial and ecological analysis; validation and refinement of vegetation mapping; assessment of vegetation condition; and preparation of technical reports and datasets. Phase 3 – Response to feedback: Revision of reports and supporting information in response to stakeholder feedback on the Draft Strategic Assessment, including additional field surveys where required. The services also include documentation of evidence, assumptions and limitations; provision of project data and deliverables in editable electronic formats; and transfer of intellectual property and associated usage rights to the NSW Government in accordance with contractual requirements.
