The Stronger Communities Cluster has established a new contract for a Total Apparel Management (TAM) solution on behalf of Corrective Services NSW, NSW Sheriff's Office, NSW Rural Fire Service with the ability for the State Emergency Service NSW and Juvenile Justice to elect into the contract. The contract will ensure that appropriate staff are correctly attired to perform their duties safely and professionally. The joint venture allows the cluster to achieve a collective bargaining power and to seek competitive pricing and a high quality uniform. It allows for innovations in procurement systems, improved auditing and access to new designs and improvements in apparel. The contract will be awarded for an initial 5 years with a 3 year extension for a total of 8 years. The Cluster went to market in 2018 and negotiations were undertaken in 2019 with the preferred supplier prior to awarding.
