DCS Chief information Officer (CISO) function seeks to ensure their staff continuously improve and maintain skills and knowledge across a wide array of security practices, to support personal and organisational growth. SANS Training Australia Pty Ltd has been previously used within the Department of Customer Services and other Government organisations to train and certify in Cyber Security. SANS Training Australia Pty Ltd training provider is a reputable organisation that provides on demand or in person attendance. This allows staff to be able to complete the specified training in the time that is suitable for the team as well as the individual. SANS Cyber Security Courses are from cyber foundations to leadership strategies; SANS offers more than 60 courses to assist and help cyber professionals at entry level of experience gain immediately applicable skills. The training can be done in an ad-hoc manner often aligned with staff’s performance goals and objectives. This is keeping the staff up to date on Cyber awareness and Operation Office. The preferred strategy is to buy training credits that can be utilised across all teams within CISO
