Glass’s produce a specialised manual extraction of research data on motor vehicles and willprovide this data to SIRA on a quarterly basis.This is used for the Green Slip Check (GSC) and the Digital Rate Filing programs to enableaccurate information to be provided to motorists in renewing their CTP premium as well as havingthe ability to capture certain vehicle attributes in premium settings.Insurers use the proprietary Glasss National Vehicle Identification Code (NVIC) which is a uniquecode that identifies individual motor vehicles. This code provides a corresponding match to CTPpremiums.
