Description
A project to be undertaken
Project scope
PCLI Stage 2 will deliver up to six separate supported housing facilities, each containing 10-20 single bedroom units which include facilities for independent daily living such as kitchen and laundry. Each facility will include staff support areas and shared communal spaces. The PCLI facilities will be single or two storey buildings of high quality residential nature and robust design. The buildings will be located within low/medium density residential areas or areas that are residential in character, to support community connection. PCLI facilities are not typical healthcare facilities and NSW Health has developed a draft Functional Design Brief to guide the design of PCLI facilities, which considers the specific requirements of PCLI consumers. These PCLI facilities will be delivered across up to six different sites. Two of these sites have been confirmed, two additional sites have been identified but not yet confirmed via Health governance, and two further sites have not yet been identified. The project comprises the core scope and two exercisable options: · Core scope: 20 PCLI beds across up to 2 sites · Option A: 10 PCLI beds at 1 site · Option B: 10 PCLI beds at 1 site · Option C: 10 PCLI beds at 1 site · Option D: 10 PCLI beds at 1 site.
