Project scope

Project Timeline The Mobile Learning Centre should be operationally ready for deployment by mid-September 2025. Suppliers should provide a project schedule. Timely delivery is critical. Operating Outcomes The Mobile Learning Centre must deliver a high-quality, engaging educational experience focused on agricultural technology. It must include Virtual Reality (VR) and/or Augmented Reality (AR) experiences as well as interactive learning stations showcasing technologies such as sensors and data platforms. Facilitation space for workshops, demonstrations, and presentations both inside and outside of the Centre should be considered. The Mobile Learning Centre must be accessible, climate-controlled, and suitable for deployment in regional and rural environments. Technical Outcomes The vehicle must be equipped with reliable power supply systems, connectivity infrastructure to support digital content delivery and secure storage for equipment and educational materials. All technology must be user-friendly, durable, and supported by appropriate training and documentation. It is expected that the development of content and resources will be completed in collaboration with the Farms of the Future program. Some existing education materials have been developed and are available through an online Learning Management System, however the development of innovative VR experiences and content as part of this EOI will be considered.
