Project scope

This project aims to restore ecological balance and improve habitat quality for native fauna, particularly Swamp Wallaby and Eastern Grey Kangaroo, within Bradfield City Centre lands south of Moore Gully. The works will focus on targeted removal of invasive woody weeds, primarily African Olive (Olea europaea subsp. cuspidata) and Needlebush Hakea (Hakea sericea), while maintaining essential shelter and movement corridors for macropods. The program will embed culturally sensitive land care practices and create opportunities for Aboriginal employment.
