Early Works: · Demolition of existing buildings at the northern portion of the main campus site. · Installation of Demountable’s. · Any required service diversions and bulk earthwork excavation. · Design finalisation. Main Works: New Acute Services Building (ASB) to deliver the following: · A new emergency department with emergency short stay unit of 9 beds. · A new medical imaging department plus a new MRI suite. · Emergency Department and Medical Imaging shared spaces. · A new 28 bed inpatient unit. · Cold shell only of Maternity (Outpatients and IPU), Special Care Nursery (SCN) and Birthing Suites. Expansion and refurbishment of the following services within the existing hospital of: · Perioperative Unit expansion to include two (2) new operating theatre and one (1) endoscopy space. · CSSD upgrade to allow additional storage & functionality requirements. Works also include the following: · Creation of private dedicated ambulance ingress/egress to ambulance drop off bay off Queen Street. · Additional carparking of circa 37 spaces off Queen Street · All landscape works with courtyard. · Carparking provision. Services yard.
