The contract engages a suitably experienced consultant or consultant team to prepare investment-ready documentation that can be relied on by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), the Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation (DAC), Tourism WA and State Government to inform decision making about investments in infrastructure at Garaan-ngaddim Horizontal Falls. The successful Contractor will be expected to translate existing project information, stakeholder insights and infrastructure concepts into a clear feasibility assessment, options analysis, business case and Opinion of Probable Costs suitable for consideration under WA Treasury and Strategic Asset Management Framework (SAMF) requirements. These will be used to access funds through WA Treasury for investments in infrastructure by DBCA. The project will support the DAC to deliver sustained, culturally appropriate and environmentally responsible visitor experiences at Garaan-ngaddim Horizontal Falls. It will enable Aboriginal-led tourism, generate employment and economic outcomes for the Kimberley.
