VP526659—Energy Savings Project – Solar Panel Installations

The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) is seeking measures to decrease its operational costs and carbon emissions associated with electricity energy consumption and improve its reputation by installing solar photovoltaic panels and systems.

DPI is requesting quotes for the installation of eight (8) solar energy systems across five (5) sites areas across Queensland. Responses are to include a comprehensive proposal for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Suppliers may choose to submit responses for all sites or specific sites. Locations include:

• Central Queensland Smart Cropping Centre, 26274 Capricorn Highway, Emerald Qld 4720

• Central Regional Office,25 Yeppoon Road, Parkhurst Qld 4702

• Spyglass Beef Research Facility, 46035 Gregory Developmental Road, Basalt Qld 4820 (Office Block, Continong Station and Luck Break Station)

• Tropical Weeds Research Facility, 27-43 Natal Downs Road, Charters Towers Qld 4820

• Wacol Tick Fever Centre, 280 Grindle Road, Wacol Qld 4076

Optional Site Visits:

This RFQ has an optional site visit at the target sites to be scheduled during the week of the Monday 28th September 2026 – Friday 2nd October 2026. Final confirmation of dates for locations will be provided once you have registered and expressed an interest to attend.
