The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of Landscaping and civil works as part of an Asbestos Mitigation Project at Grovely SS, located at 200 Dawson Parade, Keperra QLD 4054, as part of the Repair & Replacement (R&R) program.

The works are spread across three locations within the school site and include both formal playground and nature play landscaping elements as well as tiered sandstone landscaped seating. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by start of Term 1 2027.

• Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 Million.

Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required.
Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Structural Landscaping) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
